The Lifelong Learning Program / LLP (Erasmus) is a European Education program that gives students the opportunity to complete part of their studies or internship at a European Higher Education Institution, with full academic recognition, to live abroad, to make new friends, to get in contact with other cultures and customs, to improve the foreign languages ​​they know or to learn new ones and to create new perspectives for the continuation of their studies and their professional development.

The Lifelong Learning Program (LLP / ERASMUS) is funded by the European Union through the National Coordination Body, the Foundation for State Scholarships (IKY). The amount of the monthly scholarship varies depending on the country of destination and it is different from year to year. The aim of the Program is to contribute, through lifelong learning, to the development of the Community. In particular, it aims to enhance exchanges, cooperation and mobility between education systems. The Erasmus Lifelong Learning Program (LLP) includes:Member States of the European Union: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Greece, Spain, France, Ireland, Italy, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Hungary, Malta, Netherlands, Romania, Slovenia, Slovak Republic, Finland, Sweden, United Kingdom.The 4 countries of the European Economic Area EEA: Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Switzerland and the acceding countries: Turkey, and Croatia.
